Connecticut seed wrapper grown in the Talanga valley in Honduras.

Most connecticut wrappers are from Ecuador - they look nice but lack much of the depth and complexity needed in a premium cigar. In the US connecticut cigars have a reputation for being very mild and boring yet inoffensive. This cigar was made to have complexity and flavour displaying the best out of the wrapper tobacco. More on that below.

This stout, squared off chap takes on the sweeter aspects of Bolivar, developing generous woody and spicy flavors in an easy and comfortable manner without ever being aggressive. Perfect cigar for a long summer afternoon with fellow aficionados. I like to have Royal Coronas ready to hand when I have my annual family reunion BBQ, just to lighten the mood a bit and they compliment chicken dishes so well!
